Holiday Inn Guildford, an IHG Hotel

Room was large enough and we asked for extra pillows, which were delivered promptly. We greatly enjoyed the steam room and the jacuzzi also the good size swimming pool. There was a large television although Netflix wasn’t free to use, which we thought strange. We requested a fridge in the room which we were given. The royal Surrey hospital was only a 15 minute walk, which was the main purpose for our visit. Also we enjoyed a pleasant walk in the Surrey park the first evening,altogether a good trip and would not hesitate to recommend this Holiday Inn.

We liked the room, it was very clean and comfortable, very nice shower with a safety grab rail. The bed was very good and the choices for breakfast were similar to what we would expect on a cruise liner. After we booked out, we stayed for lunch and invited 2 family members, who lived nearby, to join us. The food and waiter service were excellent.

Spacious parking, easy to use parking pay machine. Beautiful reception with a fireplace and spacious area for seating, welcomed by lovely staff, place looked very luxurious. Our room was lovely, quiet, clean, fantastic shower, our beds were very comfortable, excellent housekeeping quality and room service. The cleaning staff are quiet and respectful. The meals were exceptional, high quality and served with respect and a friendly manner. The heated pool was wonderful. The whole place has a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Every staff member went out their way to be helpful, friendly and pleasant. I will most definitely use this Holiday Inn again!

We loved our stay here! Peaceful location, clean modern calm vibes. All the people were friendly and helpful (especially with ensuring we had rooms next door to each other) and so nice the children get a little goody bag too. The pool/spa area was relaxing and clean. Bedrooms comfy, choice of hard/soft pillows in room. Restaurant-really good dinner choice on the menu, variety for everyone and nicely cooked. Breakfast nicely cooked, good choice and kids love the pancake machine. 24 hr tesco opposite. Great location for Guildford, short 5 min drive to centre.

We had inter-connecting rooms for a family of 5. Rooms are abit run down but clean. Beds are comfortable. Staff at the reception and restaurant are pleasant and helpful. Good buffet breakfast. Location is good as we visited our girl who is studying at the nearby university. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Guildford which is well within our expectation as a hotel group. Service and food is consistent across the hotel group. One interesting thing is we could not book the rooms on IHG website but managed to book the rooms with a third-party online service provider. As a result, we could not earn any points with our stay under our membership of IHG group.
